The second I walked in the door I felt at home and was impressed with how accommodating everyone was, which made me quite happy considering my hair stylis, has relocated here. She is the master of her craft, which is why she has been my stylist for 6+ years. Perfecting an ombré burgundy red is a challenge, but she always exceeds expectations. Welcome! I am Jessica, the owner and founder of August Salon. Surprisingly, salon ownership was not in my plan but I felt there was a gap in the market here in Redlands. At August salon you will find an array of services ranging from waxing & lashes to Balayage & Curl specialist. In an age where everyone has a "niche" I wanted to ensure we had something for everyone. When dreaming up August, my entire vision was rooted in relaxation. We often feel the most relaxed at a spa or perhaps at the beach taking in those late summer rays... in August. You'll find that it's spacious and fresh here ,never too loud and we always have a drink for you.
I myself am a hairstylist of 13 Years, I have had a very fulfilling career starting as an assistant and working my way up to salon manager and eventually settling in an independent salon suite. I found that I missed being around other creative people, so we took the risk and rebuilt a salon from ground up, adding to the salon floor space and fresh green details we built 5 private beauty rooms. I hope you'll come to laugh, relax, and most importantly feel beautiful with us.
